Progress not perfection
Hi friend. I’m Karen. I’m a mom of two daughters and wife to a loving husband. I manage the home, keep it organized, tidy and nice looking, purchase, prep and cook the meals, plan and coordinate family activities/events/trips and dabble in real estate investing. I also have a full time corporate tech job.
Just a few years ago, I was completely overwhelmed, scattered and exhausted – trying to balance it all and do it all. I was diagnosed with deep postpartum depression and anxiety and was admitted to intensive outpatient therapy – 4 hrs day/5 days a week. I deeply suffered for 18 months. I had lost all sense of my former self. It was a slow journey back but I did make progress moment by moment. And now fast forward to today, I am feeling better and stronger than ever – I have calm control of my life. I have more energy, focus, and stamina. But most importantly, I laugh a whole lot more!
