I Heart this Sticky Rice - Umami flavor bomb

This is a ‘danger zone’ recipe for me because immediately after it’s done cooking, I can stand over the pot with my wooden spoon and EAT the ENTIRE THING. It’s so quick and easy in the Instapot..dump all ingredients in there and pressure cook 17 min. The hardest part is cutting the leeks.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sweet glutinous rice
  • Leeks, however many
  • Fresh shitaake mushrooms, however many
  • Chinese sausage, however many
  • 2 tbl soy sauce
  • White pepper to taste
  • 3 cups water

Directions

  • Cut the leeks into strips and take stems off mushrooms
  • Add as many vegetables/ sausage you want (I usually add 4 or 5 cut up sausage but if you’re a monster meat eater, add more!)
  • Dump everything into your Instapot
  • Pressure cook for 17 min.

You can’t mess up but if you do, tell me because I will be appalled – it’s that easy.
